E & K Heating & Air is a family-owned HVAC company based in Georgia. We are committed to honest work, clear communication, and treating both our clients and team members with respect. We are seeking an HVAC Install Helper for a seasonal, on-call role to assist with residential HVAC installations.
This position is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in the HVAC industry while working alongside an experienced technician in a supportive learning environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
Assist the lead installer with residential HVAC system installations
Carry tools, equipment, and materials to and from job sites
Help with removal and installation of HVAC components
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow safety guidelines and company procedures at all times
Support the lead installer as needed throughout the installation process
Requirements
High school diploma or GED
Must be at least 21 years old
Valid Georgia driver’s license and reliable transportation
Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
Ability to climb ladders and work at heights when required
Willingness to learn and follow instructions
Dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
Previous HVAC or construction experience is a plus, but not required
Schedule
This is a seasonal, on call position focused primarily on the summer busy season. Work is typically available approximately one day per week, depending on business needs. Hours are not guaranteed and may vary based on job scheduling and workload.
Pay
Flat rate pay per install day
Competitive day pay based on experience and reliability
Paid weekly
Room for growth as skills, consistency, and responsibility increase
Trial Period
This position may begin with a short evaluation period to ensure a good fit for both E & K Heating & Air and the Install Helper. Expectations and job responsibilities will be reviewed during this time.
This role is part-time and at-will, and either party may end the working relationship at any time.
