We’ve proudly served the HVAC industry since 2009. Our extensive commercial and residential HVAC experience gained by working for large companies has allowed us to master our trade. Meet the ‘E’ and ‘K’ Behind E & K
Edernst and Kimberly are the driving forces behind E & K Heating & Air. Together, they raise a beautiful family of four, serve and worship in their church, and partner in love to make a lasting impact in the community.
Edernst B.
Co-Owner & Lead Contractor
Edernst, affectionately known as “E,” is a licensed HVAC contractor in the state of Georgia. He began his career at Eastwick College in Nutley, New Jersey, graduating with an HVAC trade certificate. Shortly after, he worked for major companies, performing various tasks and roles, including sweeping floors, inventory, third man on the job, second man, and finally Lead Technician.
Through the years, he expressed frustration with the ups and downs in the HVAC industry. He saw how certain companies treated their employees and clients, but always believed there was a better way to serve homeowners.
When COVID hit and work slowed down, E finally saw an opportunity to revisit the idea of starting a company, something his wife had mentioned years earlier while living in New Jersey. This time, he was fully on board! One referral at a time, the E & K brand was built on trust, integrity, and a commitment to doing things the right way.
E can truly say he's started from the bottom and climbed his way up. As a Co-Owner of E & K Heating & Air, he’s now in a position to serve clients the way he always wanted to: with a people-first approach.
When E isn’t on-site, serving residential, commercial, or property management clients, you can find him admiring fast cars or binging anime and video games.
Kimberly B.
Co-Owner & Managing Director
As a Co-Owner and Managing Director of E & K Heating & Air, Kimberly wears several hats. She has become an operations expert, managing everything from customer service to scheduling, dispatch, and more. Born and raised in New Jersey and having worked in banking for most of her professional career, Kimberly developed skills that have made the transition to her role seamless. Depending on the day, you may even catch her in the field as E’s assistant!
Just call Kimberly the straight-shooting problem-solver. After all, she was the catalyst who took E & K from a dream to a reality! While she knows all the ins and outs of E & K, she also has a few other obsessions: the color blue, yoga, fire, animals, and outdoors (minus the bugs, of course!).

The initial phone call with Kim was excellent.
She was courteous, professional, and took the time to listen and explain things clearly. Edernst came out for the diagnostic visit and arrived earlier than expected, which I appreciated. He was very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable, and he clearly explained what seems to be the issue. He took his time to explain everything in a way I could understand and even showed me pictures so I could see the problem for myself. I’m currently waiting on an estimate for the recommended work, so this review reflects only the initial visit. So far, the experience has been positive, and I’ll update once the work is completed.

Had a great experience with E & K replacing the entire system in my house.
On installation day they were efficient, respectful of my home, and went above and beyond even doing small repairs they found along the way that weren’t in the initial scope of work. Kimberly was very responsive with scheduling/follow up and Edernst really knows his stuff. On top of that the prices were very reasonable compared to some of the other companies I got quotes from. Would highly recommend!
